Dr. Tony Zhou brings deep, real-world expertise in autonomous driving and ADAS to Revelectrik’s advisory board. Over a career spanning leadership roles at companies such as Lucid Motors, General Motors, FAW Group, and Phoenix EV, he has helped shape the evolution of L2-L4 autonomy, from system architecture and sensor fusion to localization and functional safety.
As former CTO of Phoenix EV, Dr. Zhou guided the development of next-generation autonomous bus platforms and advanced drive-by-wire systems, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and real-world deployability. He is an active inventor with more than 18 patents in AI-driven localization, perception, and path planning.
In his role as advisor, Dr. Zhou supports Revelectrik on questions of autonomy strategy, system architecture, and how to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and robust, production-ready platforms.
